However, the outdated interface and a lack of intuitive navigation made it difficult to
search and comprehend the content causing a backlog for the Operation team.

- Since I was leading the redesign of the API Doc from ground up and initially having minimal
knowledge of its functionality and purpose. I decided to do a deep dive into the structure of Checkbook’s
API Doc along with Fintech competitors to see the best practices among them. I took notes of the pros and
cons and applied them to fit Checkbook’s use case and users.
